I had a crazy amount of fun playing this game! I would recommend though, it might be fun if you could like have a sneaky affair with the neighbour, leading to her husbands assassination or something, and depending how badly you done in his assassination could affect your relationship, or if you play badly, causing trouble maybe the guy you wrok for might try and send people after you? lol could be fun interesting! anyway heres a goofy playthrough i done

You are not the first to suggest this sneaky affair, and since there isn't much weight currently attached to the choices in those dialogues, this could definitely add some interesting layer of depth here. Thank you for the suggestion!

TikTok brought me here and I'm happy it did. I played maybe two hours and here's a few things:
- I'm not sure if I missed something or if the game bugged, but after I think three dialogues with the neighbour and a fully furnished appartement there was no more story progress.
- How does the happiness-o-meter work? should I have upgraded furniture?
- It would be lovely to get some money back when discarding furniture (some things were just not the right size for the spot I imagined).
- Can we have rugs maybeprettyplease
- the white bathroom cabinet with the built-in sink was not interactable after purchase

The game indeed ends there but because of a bug you didn't get to experience the part where you can go back to your house with a ton of money and a maxed out mental health tracker. We fixed this now so if you're keen to welcome to check this out in the updated version.
The mental health tracker goes down every time you go on a mission and up the more time you spend buying things and decorating. The more interior design gigs you complete for Betty, the more happiness you can achieve.
The sizing of the furniture sure is a bit whack, I like the idea of getting some money back for dumping stuff. Rugs will be very akward when put on top of other things 😅🤣 but people keep requesting them. We'll see what we can do!

it's fun and hilarious. cute characters design too.
few thing despritely needed.
1) Save feature. Don't want to restart from beginning all over again everytime.
2) skip button in dialog. it get tired after 3 times starting the game from scratch and no able to skip any dialog.
3) i would think the VO can be a bit faster. it's ... bit unnaturally slow IMO.

If we add more content and average gameplay time stretches over 1 or 2 hours we will definitely add that save feature.
We hear you and we delivered. The new update allows you to click quickly through the dialogues. Could still be improved somewhat but at least you'll speed up significantly.
I'm worried speeding up the VO recording would make it sound even more unnatural. I guess these characters are just extremely chilled people. Hopefully the option to skip through dialogue makes your life easier here as well.

game is kinda broken on ultrawide resolutions, it just zooms in cropping off the top and bottom, would be nice to have some settings to prevent this, ideally include ultrawide support :)
Huh! We didn't test on those resolutions, thanks for the heads up! We optimised for Full HD. Will look into this
Saw this game on tik tok and had to download.
This is a great game I can see so much potential. I agree with everything ufoparties said and in addition to the other bugs, when I reached the end I was unable to exit and the game paused. I would like to see a proper save/pause function.
Additionally, a barrier around the walls as I did accidentally place things on the walls multiple times and it took quite a lot of adjustment. The furniture being 8 directional would also be great.
Loved the chats with Betty, a chance for a sneaky affair with the right options would be very entertaining. I'd enjoy more of the multiple choice. The current story line is good I didn't expect to enjoy it so much. All in all the game took me about 50 mins to play through
As you can tell I'm no game designer you definitely have a lot of work ahead, but you should be really proud of what you have so far. I really enjoyed it and will probably play through again soon!!

I was not able to play it on MacBook without external mouse, with the track pad i was not able to right click to aim and left to fire
Hey, thanks for playing! For Mac players we have some extra keys: press R to rotate the furniture and when sniping, press Q to simulate the right click. Enjoy!

Is there any particular kind of furniture you’re missing or color you want to see more of?
I think just more variety would be good? Maybe more 'sets', pieces that go together (like that one furniture store, you know the one). The modern takes on mid century that they do so well. If more pieces went together and were the same color, gray for instance, it would look more put together in barry's home. another thing I thought of, maybe when deleting old furniture you get part of your money back? That way it's not as much of a hit to throw away a 15k sofa XD
